Founder / Chief Executive Officer
Anna Onare is the visionary behind Mkali Africa, dedicated to transforming lives through education and youth empowerment. With a BA in Political Science, an MA in International Studies, and a current pursuit of a Doctorate in Public Administration, Anna has spearheaded numerous initiatives addressing socio-economic disparities and creating opportunities for underserved communities. Her passion for leadership and innovation drives Mkali Africa’s mission to empower youth globally and foster sustainable development.
Matthias Anto
Financial Manager
As the Financial Manager at Mkali Africa, Mathias Anto is responsible for overseeing the organization's financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure sustainability and efficiency. With a background in Business Management, he plays a key role in managing financial records, optimizing funding strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Mathias works closely with the Director of Finance to maintain financial transparency, strengthen financial strategies, and support the successful implementation of programs that empower communities across Africa and beyond.
Monika Tshibanda
Director of Legal Counsel
Monika Tshibanda provides expert legal guidance to Mkali Africa, ensuring compliance and ethical practices across all initiatives. With a Juris Doctor (J.D.) and a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Political Science, Monika is dedicated to safeguarding the organization’s interests while upholding its commitment to integrity and social justice. Her expertise strengthens Mkali Africa’s ability to navigate complex legal landscapes and achieve its mission with confidence.

With a strong track record in program assessment and the integration of innovative strategies, Mayowa has been instrumental in advancing nonprofit missions and driving organizational growth. Mayowa holds advanced degrees in Computer and Information Science, an MBA, Economic Development, Entrepreneurship, and Predictive Analytics.
